In what was Tulsa's hardest test to date, they prevailed over a Rio Grande Valley team that was came to the Convention Center with a fire in their belly. Tulsa gave another great effort on defense and it was the defense that sealed the game with an interception to stop RGV cold after they had recovered the onside kick after closing to 45-40.
